This is an Arkansas quartz crystal cluster with a sandstone and quartz matrix. It has drusy on the sandstone in areas, and the points are Bridging (bridges) in many areas. It has both Masculine (clear) and Feminine (Cloudy) points.
CLUSTER – Clusters are points growing together on a matrix. Some Clusters grow on a sandstone matrix, others on all quartz, and still others may grow from a “seed” of crystal (like a mass of double terminated points). Clusters are good for helping with group dynamics. Families, co-workers, anywhere a group of people might need help in getting along. They are also good for raising the vibrations in an environment and bringing light and energy into that space.
DRUSY – Very similar to Barnacles, Drusy (sometimes spelled Druzy) consist of very small points that are described as “a myriad of very closely set tiny crystals.” The Drusy clusters consist of tiny crystal points in their very formation, and are encrusted on either sandstone or quartz based matrices. The tiny crystals making up the Drusy look like sugar crystals. Your Drusy crystal may be on a point or a cluster, depending on availability. I think of Drusy crystals as assisting with ideas or thought forms ready to spring forth and grow.
BRIDGE – A Bridge is a smaller crystal (or crystals) penetrating and located partially in and partially out of a larger crystal. Bridge Crystals help to bridge between worlds. It may be the inner and outer worlds between your inner and outer Selves or between yourself and others in the physical environment in which you now live. They are helpful in any area you might imagine needing a bridge. They can help you heal and get in touch with your inner child (bridging the gap between your outer self and your inner self). They are also good for connection and perspective.
MASCULINE – Very clear points are described as Masculine. They may be optically clear, or they may have some Fairy Frost. The base of a Masculine crystal may be dense with frost, however if more of the point is clear than cloudy, it is described as Masculine. Remember not to have pre-conceived notions. Just because a point is masculine by description doesn’t automatically mean it can only present masculine energy (the same is also true for Feminine crystals). Masculine crystals are helpful when you need to get to the point; they have a sharp and direct energy. Yang in nature, Masculine crystals are more action-oriented and the energy projects rather than recedes.
FEMININE – Feminine crystals are dense and milky. The concentration of density in a Feminine crystal varies from nearly opaque fairy frost to solid white, milky quartz. Sometimes a crystal with some clarity (which typically is described as masculine) will still emit a feminine energy. Feminine crystals help us (both men and women) to get in touch with our feminine nature. They have a soft, yet deep, mysterious energy. Yin in nature, Feminine crystals are intuitive, nurturing and receptive.
