Physical description: Growth Interference crystals have missing areas in the main point where another mineral was growing during the development of the crystal and then subsequently disappeared. Lots of times it looks like a buzz saw was taken to the crystal, other times there are sharp-edged geometric shapes (square, rectangle, parallelogram). There used to be a mineral present that isn’t there anymore, so they sort of look magical to me. Sometimes there is a little bit of mineral left in part of the crevasse.

Metaphysical description: The properties of Growth Interference crystals are a bit like crystal imprints. They represent how we can adapt and grow around a certain situation (or person), and then if the situation no longer serves, it leaves, but not without leaving a mark. Because the shape is changed by a non-crystal structure, I tend to think of Growth Interference as situations that affect us which are non-human such as illness, etc.

*The size of these crystals will vary. I will send the most representative example of the type of configuration ordered, so if a crystal is small, but an excellent example of the particular configuration, I will send that crystal. If it is particularly small, I may send two in one bag (say 1/2 inch or so)… I aim for a size range from 1 to 2 inches long, 1/2 to 3/4 inch diameter.

Your Growth Interference crystal will come with a business-card-sized printed description of the characteristics and special qualities of the crystal within. Crystal sizes may vary greatly in size as I am selecting for the shape, not the size.

It isn’t necessarily sent for its size, and sometimes may be Empathic (chipped, dinged or damaged), if it is an excellent representation of this type (for example, a very good Manifestation point in an Empathic chunk, or an excellent Record Keeper on a partial point).
