DESCRIPTION:

This Arkansas quartz crystal point is Empathic with some contact dings, has a small cluster at its feet. It has Etching and Sigils (sides and Faces), is a Devic Temple (Fairy Frost, Mirror Fractures, Rainbows), has a Key, stepped/Lineated Sides, Barnacles and Bridges.

EMPATHIC - Broken, chipped and otherwise damaged crystals are called Empathic. Empathic crystals bring out compassionate feelings in us. The crystal picks up this empathy and amplifies it. Often the lesson of Empathic crystals is to remember to be compassionate and empathetic to our OWN chips, dings and perceived flaws and to remember we are still beautiful, whole, lovable and worthy. CLUSTER - Clusters are points growing together on a matrix. Some Clusters grow on a sandstone matrix, others on all quartz, and still others may grow from a ‘seed’ of crystal (like a mass of double terminated points). Clusters are good for helping with group dynamics. Families, co-workers, anywhere a group of people might need help in getting along. ETCHED - Etched crystals have abrasions on the outer areas of the crystal that look like hieroglyphics or writing of some sort. To me, Etched crystals (or the etching on crystals) is symbolic in that it looks like writing or takes other shapes. (For example, in the case of Lightning Strike, it looks like a lightning bolt zigzagging across.) DEVIC TEMPLE - Crystals which have Fairy Frost, Mirror Fractures and Rainbows inside are called Devic Temples and are considered Master Crystals. Other sources have described them as "having special places for Light Beings to reside". The description implies that only Devic Temple crystals have this ability, but in reality, all crystals do. Because all crystals have this ability/inclination, I like to put this reminder here. FAIRY FROST - Fairy Frost crystals have fractures and inclusions of air within them. The trapped air is wispy, white and fairy-looking. Crystals with Fairy Frost are sometimes called Devic crystals. Devic Temple crystals have a combination of Mirror Fractures, Rainbows and Fairy Frost. Lots of crystals have Fairy Frost. Some are more fairy-like than others. Crystals with Fairy Frost are able to connect you with Nature Spirits and Fairies (Deva). They encourage us to connect with nature and to care for Mother Earth. MIRROR FRACTURES - Mirror Fractures are shiny mirror-looking areas within the crystal, caused by damage (shocks (sudden temperature changes), traumas (hits, shaking, shearing Earth movement). Mirror Fractures serve as areas on which to reflect on our traumas and show that our traumas and challenges bring us added beauty and interest. RAINBOWS - Rainbows are present inside a crystal due to fractures. It is helpful to have very bright light, and you may have to turn the crystal (side-to-side, upside down, etc.) in order to see them. Rainbow crystals are optimistic and happy. They remind us that we are loved and they remind us to look for the gifts our traumas bring us. I think Rainbows are like secret hugs from the Crystal People. It is thrilling and warming. KEY - Keys are indentations left by another crystal. Key crystals help you unlock answers to questions you may have. They help you to access anything which you previously were blocked from accessing before you found the key. Is there an area which you could use help in accessing an answer which has previously been blocked to you? The energy of a Key crystal can help you to find an easier, more direct way in. Imagine this as easily opening the lock on the front door and walking right in (rather than having to check all the windows for one that is unlocked, climbing through, scraping your elbows and knocking your head). Ease of access is what Key crystal energy brings us. I like to put my finger in the Key as I work with the crystal. LINEATED SIDES - Lineated Sides are horizontal striations across the sides of a point, to be used like a zipper to access further knowledge within the crystal. When you have worked with your crystal and feel ready for more information (desire to go deeper), unzip the crystal to receive the next layer of information. Drag your thumbnail down the side of a point to ‘unzip’ and to zip it back up, drag your thumb from the base back to the tip. Unzipping is like opening a box, looking down inside and seeing that the bottom of the box opens to infinite space. There is no end to the amount of ‘extra’ you can receive as you work with and unzip your crystal. Rezipping is like hanging up the phone. It lets the crystal know you are ‘done for now’ and you can pick up where you left off later. Remember after your session to thank the crystal for its help, and zip back up until next time. BARNACLES - Barnacles are smaller crystals that are attached to a larger crystal. Usually, these crystals emit a very Old Soul, ancient feeling. The larger crystal is the ‘Old Soul’ and contains the wisdom and trust that attracts the smaller crystals (babies or new souls). I usually find that these Old Soul crystals with Barnacles are helpful to us in the way that a loving human grandmother/father or great grandmother/father would be (Imagine the Oracle from the Matrix movies). They help us to see things from a wider, deeper, wiser perspective. I think of the description of a crystal with Barnacles not so much as a description of the Barnacles themselves, but of the energy of the crystal that attracts or grows Barnacles. BRIDGE - A Bridge is a smaller crystal (or crystals) penetrating and located partially in and partially out of a larger crystal. Bridge Crystals help to bridge between worlds (the inner and outer worlds between your inner and outer Selves or between yourself and others). They are helpful in any area you might imagine needing a bridge. They can help you heal and get in touch with your inner child (bridging the gap between your outer self and your inner self). They are also good for connection and perspective. They bring you up out of the muck, and give you a birds-eye view of a situation. While providing connection, they also help provide boundaries.
