DESCRIPTION:

This Arkansas quartz crystal point is a super water clear (Masculine) Dow with a Channeling orientation (one of the three 7-sided faces is larger than the other two). It has Record Keepers, Lineated Sides, and Imprints. It is Empathic with contact chips and dings. You can see them in the close-ups of the Record Keepers. The energy is bright and clear. It is a beautiful crystal with lovely energy even with the chips. Crystals that aren't "perfect" can help you to honor your own chips, dings, perceived flaws and imperfections. This crystal has a lot of love to give. I honor its journey.

EMPATHIC - Broken, chipped and otherwise damaged crystals are called Empathic. Empathic crystals bring out compassionate feelings in us. The crystal picks up this empathy and amplifies it. Often the lesson of Empathic crystals is to remember to be compassionate and empathetic to our OWN chips, dings and perceived flaws and to remember we are still beautiful, whole, lovable and worthy.

MASCULINE - Very clear points are described as Masculine. They are helpful when you need to get to the point. The energy they have is sharp and direct. Yang in nature, Masculine crystals are action-oriented and the energy projects rather than recedes. The term Masculine is referring to the physical characteristic of a crystal being very clear and typically refers to the energetic qualities (masculine, referring to energy, not masculine, referring to gender.) Just like with humans, however, many Masculine crystals do have masculine energy (referring to gender), but some have feminine energy. This is especially true when a clear (Masculine) crystal has an Isis Face. Just as with humans, it is important not to make assumptions based on the physical characteristic of a crystal. DOW (also called TRANS-CHANNELER)- This is an example of a crystal with two names for the same configuration. Called both Dow (named after Janeann Dow) as well as Trans-Channeler (because these crystals are both Channelers and Transmitters in configuration), it is more commonly referred to as Dow. Dow crystals have three seven-sided faces with a triangular face between each of them. The sides of the six faces will look like 7-3-7-3-7-3. A perfect Dow or Trans-Channeler will have symmetrically-sized faces and a centrally located point. Some will be uneven in symmetry but the count will be correct. If the Transmitter configuration is more prominent (2 large 7's and one small 7), I call it a Dow with a Transmitter orientation. If one 7 is larger or more prominent than the other two 7's, I call it is Dow with a Channeler orientation. When the faces are symmetrical (textbook Dow), the Channeler and the Transmitter qualities are equally merged. Dow crystals provide a connection with the Self and Universal Truth. Transmitters help you access higher wisdom, (your Higher Self or Spirit Guides or even Angels) and Channelers assist in bringing through the information from same. RECORD KEEPER - Record Keepers are crystals that have triangular markings on the faces. They seem to be three-dimensional, but they usually can’t be felt with your finger. You have to hold a crystal at just the right angle in order to see the Record Keeper. Usually they are very sharply edged, equilateral triangles; however, I have seen them with rounded bottoms as well (more arrowhead shaped), which I call non-traditional. There may only be one present on a face, or you may find layers and layers of them. Record Keepers will appear and disappear (I call that ‘popping’). A Record Keeper crystal will find its way to the person who needs the information it contains and they help you access special wisdom and information specific to you. LINEATED SIDES - Lineated Sides are horizontal striations across the sides of a point, to be used like a zipper to access further knowledge within the crystal. When you have worked with your crystal and feel ready for more information (desire to go deeper), unzip the crystal to receive the next layer of information. Drag your thumbnail down the side of a point to ‘unzip’ and to zip it back up, drag your thumb from the base back to the tip. Unzipping is like opening a box, looking down inside and seeing that the bottom of the box opens to infinite space. There is no end to the amount of ‘extra’ you can receive as you work with and unzip your crystal. Rezipping is like hanging up the phone. It lets the crystal know you are ‘done for now’ and you can pick up where you left off later. Remember after your session to thank the crystal for its help, and zip back up until next time. IMPRINT - Imprints are indentations or marks left on the sides or faces of a crystal where they grew in close proximity to another crystal. Crystals with Imprints represent how we are affected by outside influences (usually other people). The original structure adapts to its environment as outside influences (associations with people) change its shape or form. This allows for growth and change, while still maintaining the crystal’s basic inherent truth and beauty. An Imprint is a type of Key, so the characteristics of Key crystals applies as well.
