DESCRIPTION:

This Arkansas quartz crystal point is a Yin/Yang Devic Temple (Fairy Frost, Mirror Fractures, Rainbows) with a Bridge, Imprints, Lineated Sides and Lineated Faces with very faint Record Keepers.

YIN/YANG - Yin/Yang crystals are half feminine and half masculine (referring to energy, not gender). They present as half cloudy and half clear. The base of a Yin/Yang point may be completely milky or just very densely clouded with Fairy Frost (almost white) and the top part may be clear with a little wispy Fairy Frost. DEVIC TEMPLE - Crystals which have Fairy Frost, Mirror Fractures and Rainbows inside are called Devic Temples and are considered Master Crystals. Other sources have described them as "having special places for Light Beings to reside". The description implies that only Devic Temple crystals have this ability, but in reality, all crystals do. Because all crystals have this ability/inclination, I like to put this reminder here. FAIRY FROST - Fairy Frost crystals have fractures and inclusions of air within them. The trapped air is wispy, white and fairy-looking. Crystals with Fairy Frost are sometimes called Devic crystals. Devic Temple crystals have a combination of Mirror Fractures, Rainbows and Fairy Frost. Lots of crystals have Fairy Frost. Some are more fairy-like than others. MIRROR FRACTURES - Mirror Fractures are shiny mirror-looking areas within the crystal, caused by damage (shocks (sudden temperature changes), traumas (hits, shaking, shearing Earth movement). Mirror Fractures serve as areas on which to reflect on our traumas and show that our traumas and challenges bring us added beauty and interest. RAINBOWS - Rainbows are present inside a crystal due to fractures. It is helpful to have very bright light, and you may have to turn the crystal (side-to-side, upside down, etc.) in order to see them. Rainbow crystals are optimistic and happy. They remind us that we are loved and they remind us to look for the gifts our traumas bring us. I think Rainbows are like secret hugs from the Crystal People. It is thrilling and warming. BRIDGE - A Bridge is a smaller crystal (or crystals) penetrating and located partially in and partially out of a larger crystal. Bridge Crystals help to bridge between worlds (the inner and outer worlds between your inner and outer Selves or between yourself and others). They are helpful in any area you might imagine needing a bridge. They can help you heal and get in touch with your inner child (bridging the gap between your outer self and your inner self). They are also good for connection and perspective. They bring you up out of the muck, and give you a birds-eye view of a situation. While providing connection, they also help provide boundaries. IMPRINT - Imprints are indentations or marks left on the sides or faces of a crystal where they grew in close proximity to another crystal. Crystals with Imprints represent how we are affected by outside influences (usually other people). The original structure adapts to its environment as outside influences (associations with people) change its shape or form. This allows for growth and change, while still maintaining the crystal’s basic inherent truth and beauty. An Imprint is a type of Key, so the characteristics of Key crystals applies as well. LINEATED SIDES - Lineated Sides are horizontal striations across the sides of a point, to be used like a zipper to access further knowledge within the crystal. When you have worked with your crystal and feel ready for more information (desire to go deeper), unzip the crystal to receive the next layer of information. Drag your thumbnail down the side of a point to ‘unzip’ and to zip it back up, drag your thumb from the base back to the tip. Unzipping is like opening a box, looking down inside and seeing that the bottom of the box opens to infinite space. There is no end to the amount of ‘extra’ you can receive as you work with and unzip your crystal. Rezipping is like hanging up the phone. It lets the crystal know you are ‘done for now’ and you can pick up where you left off later. Remember after your session to thank the crystal for its help, and zip back up until next time. LINEATED FACE - Lineated Face crystals are crystals with surface markings viewed in the same way you find Record Keepers. Lineated face crystals may have markings which start as a small triangle that is outlined continually, oftentimes the pattern runs off the face of the crystal, sometimes it doesn’t. To picture this, just imagine the lines in a Zen Garden. The innermost triangle may or may not be centrally located. Lineated Face crystals may be accessed during meditation in the same way that you might use a labyrinth. To work with Lineated Face crystals, follow the lines in and down to a meditative state and when you are finished, work your way back out from the center. RECORD KEEPER - Record Keepers are crystals that have triangular markings on the faces. They seem to be three-dimensional, but they usually can’t be felt with your finger. You have to hold a crystal at just the right angle in order to see the Record Keeper. Usually they are very sharply edged, equilateral triangles; however, I have seen them with rounded bottoms as well (more arrowhead shaped), which I call non-traditional. There may only be one present on a face, or you may find layers and layers of them. Record Keepers will appear and disappear (I call that ‘popping’). A Record Keeper crystal will find its way to the person who needs the information it contains and they help you access special wisdom and information specific to you.
