This Arkansas quartz crystal point is dense with Fairy Frost (Feminine), Empathic with a few chips and contact dings, missing about half the point to a crystal Imprint, Self-Healed on the base. Small Keys and Inner Child points, lovely energy.

FAIRY FROST - Fairy Frost is found inside a crystal (not like “frost on a pumpkin”). Fairy Frost is fractures and inclusions of air within the crystal. The trapped air is wispy, white and fairy-looking. Crystals with Fairy Frost are sometimes called Devic crystals. Devic Temple crystals have a combination of Mirror Fractures, Rainbows and Fairy Frost. Lots of crystals have Fairy Frost. Some are more fairy-like than others. FEMININE - Feminine crystals are dense and milky. The concentration of density in a Feminine crystal varies from nearly opaque Fairy Frost to solid white, milky quartz. Sometimes a crystal with some clarity (which typically is described as Masculine) will still emit a feminine energy. Feminine crystals help us (both men and women) to get in touch with our feminine nature. They have a soft, yet deep, mysterious energy. Yin in nature, Feminine crystals are intuitive, nurturing and receptive. Typically, the term Feminine is referring to the physical characteristic of a crystal being dense or milky in color, and doesn’t always refer to the energetic qualities. Just like with humans, many Feminine crystals also have feminine energy, but some have masculine energy. Just as with humans, it is important not to make assumptions based on the physical characteristic of a crystal. EMPATHIC - Broken, chipped and otherwise damaged crystals are called Empathic. Empathic crystals bring out compassionate feelings in us. The crystal picks up this empathy and amplifies it. Often the lesson of Empathic crystals is to remember to be compassionate and empathetic to our OWN chips, dings and perceived flaws and to remember we are still beautiful, whole, lovable and worthy. IMPRINT - Imprints are indentations or marks left on the sides or faces of a crystal where they grew in close proximity to another crystal. Crystals with Imprints represent how we are affected by outside influences (usually other people). The original structure adapts to its environment as outside influences (associations with people) change its shape or form. This allows for growth and change, while still maintaining the crystal’s basic inherent truth and beauty. An Imprint is a type of Key, so the characteristics of Key crystals applies as well. SELF-HEALED - Self-Healed crystals are crystals that have been broken from the matrix and started to re-seal their broken end with new growth. A Self-Healed crystal looks like it has scales or triangular layers. Self-healing can be present on the bottom, sides or even tip of a point or cluster. Self-Healed points also present as crystals that were broken in half but sort of ‘glued’ back together with new growth. Self-healed crystals are good for healing, as one might imagine. They also have optimistic, persistent energy. A crystal that has first healed its own wounding demonstrates how we are more able to help heal others when we first heal our own wounds. KEY - Keys are indentations left by another crystal. Key crystals help you unlock answers to questions you may have. They help you to access anything which you previously were blocked from accessing before you found the key. Is there an area which you could use help in accessing an answer which has previously been blocked to you? The energy of a Key crystal can help you to find an easier, more direct way in. Imagine this as easily opening the lock on the front door and walking right in (rather than having to check all the windows for one that is unlocked, climbing through, scraping your elbows and knocking your head). Ease of access is what Key crystal energy brings us. I like to put my finger in the Key as I work with the crystal. INNER CHILD (see also BRIDGE) - Inner Child (a type of Bridge) is a smaller crystal (or crystals) penetrating and located partially in and partially out of a larger crystal. Both names, Bridge and Inner Child, are used interchangeably. Inner Child crystals I see as much smaller and penetrating more ‘in’ than ‘out’ and they have a feeling to me of going ‘within’. Bridge or Inner Child crystals help to bridge between worlds. It may be the inner and outer worlds between your inner and outer Selves or between yourself and others in the physical environment in which you now live.
