DESCRIPTION:

This Arkansas quartz crystal point has a large Bridge situated like a kick-stand (it actually props the crystal at about a 45-degree angle). It is full of dense Fairy Frost and has the beginning stages of Self-Healing on the base. It has Imprints, 2 small Inner Child points standing on the Bridge which remind me of 2 little people about to go down a ski slope. It has Lineated Sides, Lineated Faces and faint Sigils reminiscent of pyramids. Laid on its side with the Bridge pointing up, the crystal reminds me of an orca for some reason. I really like this crystal. It has what I call a pistol-grip. Comfortable to hold.

BRIDGE - A Bridge is a smaller crystal (or crystals) penetrating and located partially in and partially out of a larger crystal. Bridge Crystals help to bridge between worlds (the inner and outer worlds between your inner and outer Selves or between yourself and others). They are helpful in any area you might imagine needing a bridge. They can help you heal and get in touch with your inner child (bridging the gap between your outer self and your inner self). They are also good for connection and perspective. They bring you up out of the muck, and give you a birds-eye view of a situation. While providing connection, they also help provide boundaries. SELF-HEALED - Self-Healed crystals are crystals that have been broken from the matrix and started to re-seal their broken end with new growth. A Self-Healed crystal looks like it has scales or triangular layers. Self-healing can be present on the bottom, sides or even tip of a point or cluster. Self-Healed points also present as crystals that were broken in half but sort of ‘glued’ back together with new growth. Self-healed crystals are good for healing, as one might imagine. They also have optimistic, persistent energy. A crystal that has first healed its own wounding demonstrates how we are more able to help heal others when we first heal our own wounds. IMPRINT - Imprints are indentations or marks left on the sides or faces of a crystal where they grew in close proximity to another crystal. Crystals with Imprints represent how we are affected by outside influences (usually other people). The original structure adapts to its environment as outside influences (associations with people) change its shape or form. This allows for growth and change, while still maintaining the crystal’s basic inherent truth and beauty. An Imprint is a type of Key, so the characteristics of Key crystals applies as well. INNER CHILD (see also BRIDGE) - Inner Child (a type of Bridge) is a smaller crystal (or crystals) penetrating and located partially in and partially out of a larger crystal. Both names, Bridge and Inner Child, are used interchangeably. Inner Child crystals I see as much smaller and penetrating more ‘in’ than ‘out’ and they have a feeling to me of going ‘within’. Bridge or Inner Child crystals help to bridge between worlds. It may be the inner and outer worlds between your inner and outer Selves or between yourself and others in the physical environment in which you now live. LINEATED SIDES - Lineated Sides are horizontal striations across the sides of a point, to be used like a zipper to access further knowledge within the crystal. When you have worked with your crystal and feel ready for more information (desire to go deeper), unzip the crystal to receive the next layer of information. Drag your thumbnail down the side of a point to ‘unzip’ and to zip it back up, drag your thumb from the base back to the tip. Unzipping is like opening a box, looking down inside and seeing that the bottom of the box opens to infinite space. There is no end to the amount of ‘extra’ you can receive as you work with and unzip your crystal. Rezipping is like hanging up the phone. It lets the crystal know you are ‘done for now’ and you can pick up where you left off later. Remember after your session to thank the crystal for its help, and zip back up until next time. LINEATED FACE - Lineated Face crystals are crystals with surface markings viewed in the same way you find Record Keepers. Lineated face crystals may have markings which start as a small triangle that is outlined continually, oftentimes the pattern runs off the face of the crystal, sometimes it doesn’t. To picture this, just imagine the lines in a Zen Garden. The innermost triangle may or may not be centrally located. Lineated Face crystals may be accessed during meditation in the same way that you might use a labyrinth. To work with Lineated Face crystals, follow the lines in and down to a meditative state and when you are finished, work your way back out from the center. SIGILS - Sigils are any markings that represent an idea. For example, a dollar sign is a sigil that represents money and abundance. Crystals may have markings that resemble things such as snake skin, mountain ranges, water or even cities. There are some that look like stacked skyscrapers, and recently I found an online image of sea cliffs in Iceland that are very similar to these sky-scraper-looking Sigils (Reynisfjara beach : South Iceland). Sigils are surface features; you view them the same way you view a Record Keeper. Because a Sigil is a marking that reminds us of an idea or invokes a memory or feeling, the meaning will depend on what the sigil represents to you. When you see Sigils and images, a good thing to do is let your mind’s eye wander through them and see if they take on a life of their own (like a video in your mind’s eye).
