This Arkansas quartz crystal point is dense with Fairy Frost (Feminine), heavily Self-Healed on the backside (Elestiated), A point that isn’t quite all point, and isn’t quite all Elestial, but sort of a combination of the two. Elestial crystals have a soft, loving energy. They usually feel angelic to me. I use them when I want to connect to an angelic energy all around me. Their energy is less focused, more amorphous (having no definite form, without shape). This feature is just on the backside, the crystal isn’t technically (textbook) Elestial but the energy is there. It has Bridge/Inner Child, a Trigonic Record Keeper, Sigils on the faces and Lineated Sides.

FAIRY FROST - Fairy Frost is found inside a crystal (not like “frost on a pumpkin”). Fairy Frost is fractures and inclusions of air within the crystal. The trapped air is wispy, white and fairy-looking. Crystals with Fairy Frost are sometimes called Devic crystals. Devic Temple crystals have a combination of Mirror Fractures, Rainbows and Fairy Frost. Lots of crystals have Fairy Frost. Some are more fairy-like than others. FEMININE - Feminine crystals are dense and milky. The concentration of density in a Feminine crystal varies from nearly opaque Fairy Frost to solid white, milky quartz. Sometimes a crystal with some clarity (which typically is described as Masculine) will still emit a feminine energy. Feminine crystals help us (both men and women) to get in touch with our feminine nature. They have a soft, yet deep, mysterious energy. Yin in nature, Feminine crystals are intuitive, nurturing and receptive. Typically, the term Feminine is referring to the physical characteristic of a crystal being dense or milky in color, and doesn’t always refer to the energetic qualities. Just like with humans, many Feminine crystals also have feminine energy, but some have masculine energy. SELF-HEALED - Self-Healed crystals are crystals that have been broken from the matrix and started to re-seal their broken end with new growth. A Self-Healed crystal looks like it has scales or triangular layers. Self-healing can be present on the bottom, sides or even tip of a point or cluster. Self-Healed points also present as crystals that were broken in half but sort of ‘glued’ back together with new growth. Self-healed crystals are good for healing, as one might imagine. They also have optimistic, persistent energy. A crystal that has first healed its own wounding demonstrates how we are more able to help heal others when we first heal our own wounds. ELESTIAL - Elestial crystals have natural terminations over the body and face of an etched and/or stepped/layered crystal. What does that mean? They really aren’t in the shape of a point. BRIDGE - A Bridge is a smaller crystal (or crystals) penetrating and located partially in and partially out of a larger crystal. Bridge Crystals help to bridge between worlds (the inner and outer worlds between your inner and outer Selves or between yourself and others). They are helpful in any area you might imagine needing a bridge. They can help you heal and get in touch with your inner child (bridging the gap between your outer self and your inner self). They are also good for connection and perspective. They bring you up out of the muck, and give you a birds-eye view of a situation. While providing connection, they also help provide boundaries. INNER CHILD (see also BRIDGE) - Inner Child (a type of Bridge) is a smaller crystal (or crystals) penetrating and located partially in and partially out of a larger crystal. Both names, Bridge and Inner Child, are used interchangeably. Inner Child crystals I see as much smaller and penetrating more ‘in’ than ‘out’ and they have a feeling to me of going ‘within’. Bridge or Inner Child crystals help to bridge between worlds. It may be the inner and outer worlds between your inner and outer Selves or between yourself and others in the physical environment in which you now live. TRIGONIC RECORD KEEPER - A Trigonic Record Keeper is an upside-down Record Keeper that you can easily feel and see. They are like tiny Keys, actually, except that they are shaped like a Record Keeper (triangle) and the flat ‘bottom’ of the triangle is at the top, the point is facing down. These may be present on the faces or sides of a crystal. They are rare. Trigonic Record Keepers are crystals of transition. They are good for soul retrieval and can work as a key to the future. They have an interesting and unique energy. I think they feel like a traditional Record Keeper on steroids. The energy of a traditional Record Keepers is one of a quiet exciting knowledge or information held within the crystal itself. Trigonic Record Keepers feel more like a doorway to endless information. Accessing the knowledge of a Trigonic Record Keeper would be comparable to walking into a library, whereas that of a traditional Record Keeper would be like opening a book. SIGILS - Sigils are any markings that represent an idea. For example, a dollar sign is a sigil that represents money and abundance. Crystals may have markings that resemble things such as snake skin, mountain ranges, water or even cities. There are some that look like stacked skyscrapers, and recently I found an online image of sea cliffs in Iceland that are very similar to these sky-scraper-looking Sigils (Reynisfjara beach : South Iceland). Sigils are surface features; you view them the same way you view a Record Keeper. Because a Sigil is a marking that reminds us of an idea or invokes a memory or feeling, the meaning will depend on what the sigil represents to you. When you see Sigils and images, a good thing to do is let your mind’s eye wander through them and see if they take on a life of their own (like a video in your mind’s eye). LINEATED SIDES - Lineated Sides are horizontal striations across the sides of a point, to be used like a zipper to access further knowledge within the crystal. When you have worked with your crystal and feel ready for more information (desire to go deeper), unzip the crystal to receive the next layer of information. Drag your thumbnail down the side of a point to ‘unzip’ and to zip it back up, drag your thumb from the base back to the tip. Unzipping is like opening a box, looking down inside and seeing that the bottom of the box opens to infinite space. There is no end to the amount of ‘extra’ you can receive as you work with and unzip your crystal. Rezipping is like hanging up the phone. It lets the crystal know you are ‘done for now’ and you can pick up where you left off later. Remember after your session to thank the crystal for its help, and zip back up until next time.
