02611_S2 ARKANSAS QUARTZ CRYSTAL POINT
This Arkansas quartz crystal point is an incredible example of Self-Healing. This crystal broke in 3 places during its growth. It sealed back all the pieces and kept growing. The main crystal (top part) looks like it was starting to turn itself into an ET (Extra Terrestrial or Extra-Termination). The base where it broke from the matrix is completely Self-Healed. The fissures are still present. It is full of Fairy Frost, Mirror Fractures and some Rainbows. Lineated Faces and Lineated Sides. Awesome crystal!
SELF-HEALED - Self-Healed crystals are crystals that have been broken from the matrix and started to re-seal their broken end with new growth. A Self-Healed crystal looks like it has scales or triangular layers. Self-healing can be present on the bottom, sides or even tip of a point or cluster. Self-Healed points also present as crystals that were broken in half but sort of ‘glued’ back together with new growth. Self-healed crystals are good for healing, as one might imagine. They also have optimistic, persistent energy. A crystal that has first healed its own wounding demonstrates how we are more able to help heal others when we first heal our own wounds. We can take this lesson to heart in our own healing practice.
ET, EXTRA-TERRESTRIAL or EXTRA-TERMINATION - Crystals with a single termination at the top and several terminations coming out of the base. Extra Terrestrial crystals remind me of a cartoon version of a rocket ship (a cigar-shaped ship with fire coming out the bottom). Extraterrestrial crystals have a powerful energy. You may use them to assist you in accessing beings from other realities (extraterrestrials) and Angels. I often also get a sense of flying through the universe when holding these crystals (travelling through a black starry expanse).
FAIRY FROST - Fairy Frost crystals have fractures and inclusions of air within them. The trapped air is wispy, white and fairy-looking. Crystals with Fairy Frost are sometimes called Devic crystals. Devic Temple crystals have a combination of Mirror Fractures, Rainbows and Fairy Frost. Lots of crystals have Fairy Frost. Some are more fairy-like than others. Crystals with Fairy Frost are able to connect you with Nature Spirits and Fairies (Deva). They encourage us to connect with nature and to care for Mother Earth.
MIRROR FRACTURES - Mirror Fractures are shiny mirror-looking areas within the crystal, caused by damage (shocks (sudden temperature changes), traumas (hits, shaking, shearing Earth movement). Mirror Fractures serve as areas on which to reflect on our traumas and show that our traumas and challenges bring us added beauty and interest.
RAINBOWS - Rainbows are present inside a crystal due to fractures. It is helpful to have very bright light, and you may have to turn the crystal (side-to-side, upside down, etc.) in order to see them. Rainbow crystals are optimistic and happy. They remind us that we are loved and they remind us to look for the gifts our traumas bring us. I think Rainbows are like secret hugs from the Crystal People. It is thrilling and warming. Connect to the gift of love these crystals with Rainbows bring.
LINEATED FACE - Lineated Face crystals are crystals with surface markings viewed in the same way you find Record Keepers. Lineated face crystals may have markings which start as a small triangle that is outlined continually, oftentimes the pattern runs off the face of the crystal, sometimes it doesn’t. To picture this, just imagine the lines in a Zen Garden. The innermost triangle may or may not be centrally located. Lineated Face crystals may be accessed during meditation in the same way that you might use a labyrinth. To work with Lineated Face crystals, follow the lines in and down to a meditative state and when you are finished, work your way back out from the center.
LINEATED SIDES - Lineated Sides are horizontal striations across the sides of a point and can be used like a zipper to access further knowledge within the crystal. When you have worked with your crystal for a while and feel ready for more information (desire to go deeper), unzip the crystal to receive the next layer of information. Drag your thumbnail down the side of a point to ‘unzip’ the crystal and to zip it back up, drag your thumb from the base back to the tip. Rezipping is like hanging up the phone after a conversation. It lets the crystal know you are ‘done for now’ and you can pick up where you left off later. Unzipping is like opening a box, looking down inside and seeing that the bottom of the box opens to infinite space. There is no end to the amount of ‘extra’ you can receive as you work with and unzip your crystal. It is literally like peeling an onion with infinite layers. Remember after your session to thank the crystal for its help, and zip back up until next time.
