01800 ARKANSAS QUARTZ CRYSTAL POINT
- Size or details
This is an Empathic Tabby (Tabular) Arkansas quartz crystal point. It is full of black spotty Inclusions. It has Lineated Sides and Etching with possible Sigils (depending on if the shapes take meaning for you). It has a wonderful energy and heats up very quickly when held. I would carry this awesome crystal in a pocket.
EMPATHIC - Broken, chipped and otherwise damaged crystals are called Empathic. Empathic crystals bring out compassionate feelings in us. The crystal picks up this empathy and amplifies it. Often the lesson of Empathic crystals is to remember to be compassionate and empathetic to our OWN chips, dings and perceived flaws and to remember we are still beautiful, whole, lovable and worthy.
TABBY or TABULAR - Tabular or Tabby crystals are thin, flat crystals. To ‘qualify’ as a Tabby, they should be no more than half as thin as they are wide. For example, if a crystal is one inch wide it needs to be one-half inch thick (or less) in order to be called a Tabby. If it is two inches wide it needs to be one inch thick (or less), etc. Tabby crystals are good helpers with communication. I remember this because they are shaped like a tablet.
INCLUDED - Included crystals occur when crystal is forming, and there may be other substances present in the solution. These substances might be air bubbles or other minerals. They become trapped (or Included) within the crystal point during its growth and are called Inclusions or Included crystals. Air and moisture inclusions fall into the category of Fairy Frost, a non-mineral inclusion. The properties of Included crystals will vary, depending on the mineral included within the crystal. The properties of the included mineral will be enhanced and amplified by being trapped within the structure of quartz.
LINEATED SIDES - Lineated Sides are horizontal striations across the sides of a point. Lineated Sides can be used like a zipper to access further knowledge within the crystal. If you have worked with your crystal for a while and feel ready for more information or feel a desire to go deeper, you can unzip the crystal to receive the next layer of information. I experience this as receiving a deeper knowing or understanding that seems to be released quietly after they are unzipped. If you drag your thumbnail down the side of a point with deep striations, you are ‘unzipping’ the crystal. To zip it back up, drag your thumb from the base back to the tip. This is like hanging up the phone after a conversation. It lets the crystal know you are ‘done for now’ and you can pick up where you left off later. I used to think that unzipping would be like opening a box and looking inside, revealing a few more items, and once you see them, that is all. It isn’t quite like this though. It is more like opening the box, looking down inside and seeing that the bottom of the box opens to infinite space. There is no end to the amount of ‘extra’ you can receive as you work with and unzip your crystal. It is literally like peeling an onion that has infinite layers. Just remember when you finish with your session to thank the crystal for its help, and zip back up until next time.
ETCHED - Etched crystals have abrasions on the outer areas of the crystal that look like hieroglyphics or writing of some sort. To me, Etched crystals (or the etching on crystals) is symbolic in that it looks like writing. (For example, in the case of Lightning Strike, it looks like a lightning bolt zigzagging across.) I feel that the best way to use these crystals depends on the particular shape the etching takes (refer to Sigil crystals).
SIGILS - Sigils are any markings that represent an idea. For example, a dollar sign is a sigil that represents money and abundance. Crystals may have markings that resemble things such as snake skin, mountain ranges, water or even cities. Sigils are surface features; you view them the same way you view a Record Keeper. Because a Sacred Sigil is a marking that reminds us of an idea or invokes a memory or feeling, the meaning will depend on what the sigil represents to you.
