EMPATHIC CRYSTALS – A MESSAGE

First, what are Empathic crystals?

Empathic crystals are crystals which have been chipped, dinged or broken. This may have occurred during the growth process, the mining experience or when they are dropped in our care. (See the popular post: Crystals Which are Broken in our Care here). Be sure to scroll to the bottom and read the comments and my replies, there is a lot of information to be had there!

Here is a link to view the Empathic crystals available right now. There are definitely messages and lessons to be learned from Empathic Crystals. Read on!

EMPATHIC CRYSTALS AT ARKANSAS CRYSTAL WORKS

Many (in fact MOST – 95%??) of the crystals I adopt out are “damaged” in some way. They are chipped or dinged, either in the earth during growth or through the birth process at the crystal mine.

You don’t find these crystals as readily exalted and honored in other shops. They tend to be “discounted” (and I don’t just mean monetarily).

Often they are set to the side because of the damage, implying they aren’t as desirable or worthy as the “non-damaged”, energetically speaking.

DOES THIS IMPLY EMPATHIC CRYSTALS AREN'T AS "GOOD"?

Certainly, it is much harder to find a natural (non-polished) crystal (especially a large crystal) that is pristine (without damage).

The price of these undamaged crystals is usually higher because of the rarity, not because of the DESIRABILITY, energetically speaking.

You might notice that most Brazilian points are polished and even cut to take out dings and mine damage.

This is done because they tend to be larger crystals. The size leaves wiggle room to polish and cut them down and still have a large crystal when they are done.

WHEN POLISHING AWAY FLAWS, INFORMATION CAN BE LOST

Empathic crystals

Unfortunately, huge amounts of information that the crystal has to convey (surface features, Record Keepers and etc) are lost to the polishing. I don’t mean that the information is lost, it is always there, but the CLUE for us to look isn’t there anymore.

Further, when cut down as well as polished, Bridges, Keys and other important features are also lost.

Lost with them are clues from Empathic Crystals that might serve you. It is like cutting off one of our arms because we have a crooked elbow or cutting off a hand because of a missing finger.

Layers of information and authenticity can be lost to the cutting and polishing (aka “perfecting”) process.

OUR TENDENCY IS TO HIDE IMPERFECTION

Too often we whack off the bent or broken bits (hide the damage) to present a false picture of perfection. Plastic surgery, anyone?

Of course, sometimes surgery is necessary when it is functional, but more often than not it is chosen for aesthetic reasons alone. It’s the same with crystals. If there is a dangerously sharp area on a broken crystal, I do recommend polishing that area to prevent injury.

However, if it is purely for aesthetic reasons, I say, let it be! It happened in the journey and is important to the whole story of how it came to be. Similarly, how WE came to be who and what we are.

See if this message from Empathic Crystals resonates for you and your own perceived “imperfections”.

WHY I FIND EMPATHIC CRYSTALS DESIRABLE

I am drawn to empathic crystals because they present in all their broken glory, carrying all the information that they can.

They unashamedly arrive, just as they are – chips, dings, and all – proudly and boldly.

I think it speaks to the fact that MANY MANY of us as Lightworkers have endured some pretty hard knocks as well, as part of our growth process.

If we dare to look deeply, we are better for the traumas, not worse.

TRAUMAS AND CHALLENGES BRING GIFTS

Empathic crystals blog post

As with Empathic crystals, often the traumas bring Rainbows – gifts for us brought by our challenges.

Have you looked closely to find the rainbows in your traumas?

This is another message from Empathic Crystals.

Many of us are WAY too hard on ourselves for being “damaged” or “imperfect”. It is easy to see others’ damage and be OK with (and even love) it.

Consider looking at your own flaws and allowing yourself the compassion you show to others.

A MESSAGE FROM EMPATHIC CRYSTALS REGARDING OUR OWN CHIPS AND DINGS

Sometimes we reject broken or damaged crystal. This might come from a strong desire to distance from the damage because having a broken crystal reminds us that we, too, have seen trauma.

Empathic crystals are trying desperately to show us that there is nothing to “fix”, either in the crystal’s damage or in our own.

The changes that happened (both to it and possibly to us) are in divine perfection.

WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO "FIX" EMPATHIC CRYSTALS (AND HENCE OUR OWN CHIPS AND DINGS)?

Empathic crystals blog post

To glue a chip back onto the crystal to make it “whole” again or to polish down the broken bit wouldn’t negate the fact that the damage occurred in the first place. It simply hides it.

To truly “fix” or repair the damage of Empathic crystals is to love and honor them.

The same holds true for our own chips, scars, traumas and dings.

Just as with Empathic crystals, we should recognize that we are whole and perfect just as we are.

Our scars stand as tribute to what we have conquered and overcome.

They bear sacred witness to our strength and resilience, not our “broken-ness”.

IN SUMMARY

The message from Empathic Crystals is vital in regard to owning and healing our own traumas.

Ideally, we reach the space where we can see the “wound” (the brokenness that occurred) from a space of acceptance.

The lesson isn’t to re-live the trauma the scar brought, but to instead see ourselves as whole. Not less-than or permanently “imperfect”.

We should look to the “scar” (physical, emotional or spiritual) as a reminder to love ourselves even MORE FIERCELY.

To see ourselves as the beautiful, strong, divine, WHOLE and HEALED being we are. JUST AS WE ARE. Chips, dings, scars and all.

That’s the message from Empathic crystals.

  1. Genn, as with others, I am finding this post way after the fact due to the internet outage during the Storm of ’21! However, the message is most timely, especially in the present moment when inner traumas individually and collectively are bubbling up for healing and transformation. I will have a closer look at my current collection of crystals to see if any of them have the “imperfections” you discuss here. I know I do personally, and yes, the tendency is to cover up or change whatever we perceive to be “imperfect” according to what we have learned from culture, society, and family. I am just now coming to appreciate and love myself as myself, gradually conquering the “not good enough” syndrome. Progress is sure, even if at times painful. Thanks so much for your site, and insights! Love and Blessings, Ron

    1. Hello Ron!! I’m glad you finally got your internet issues unwound (and the email backlog washed through!). I think we all suffer the “not good enough” syndrome to one degree or another. Such an important lesson the Crystal People are helping us to complete. I am glad we are all working to shift that collective energy! Big love right back to you!
