This Arkansas quartz crystal cluster is very sparkly and blingy. All-quartz base with Drusy and Growth Interference. Some pockets of Growth interference as well. Positive and uplifting.
CLUSTER - Clusters are points growing together on a matrix. Some Clusters grow on a sandstone matrix, others on all quartz, and still others may grow from a ‘seed’ of crystal (like a mass of double terminated points). Clusters are good for helping with group dynamics. Families, co-workers, anywhere a group of people might need help in getting along. They are also good for raising the vibrations in an environment and bringing light and energy into that space.
DRUSY - Very similar to Barnacles, Drusy consists of very small points described as ‘a myriad of very closely set tiny crystals'. The tiny crystals making up the Drusy look like sugar crystals. I think of Drusy crystals as assisting with ideas or thought forms ready to spring forth and grow.
GROWTH INTERFERENCE: Growth Interference is missing areas in the main point where another mineral was growing during the development of the crystal and then subsequently disappeared. Lots of times it presents with a look like a buzz saw was taken to the crystal. Other times in deep square imprints. Because there used to be a mineral present that isn’t there anymore, they look and feel magical to me. Sometimes there is a little bit of mineral left in part of the crevasse. The properties of Growth Interference crystals are a bit like crystal imprints. They represent how we can adapt and grow around a certain situation and then if the situation no longer serves, it leaves, but not without leaving a mark. I see Imprints as more associated with situations regarding people (crystal on crystal) but because Growth Interference is caused by non-crystal influences (other minerals), I see it as referring more to non-human influences (such as environmental circumstances or health issues, etc.)
