This Arkansas quartz crystal point is Empathic with some slight contact dings. It is Lemurian-esque with heavily Lineated Sides and some stepped sides (on every other side, typical of Lemurian). It has a very slight Curve. There is Fairy Frost, Mirror Fractures and Rainbows. The Rainbows are fleeting and must be turned in bright light to see them, a metaphor for how our traumas and challenges bring gifts but they sometimes have to be turned in the light of illumination and introspection to realize them. There are deep Keys, a little clump of Bridge/Inner Child points. Energetically, this crystal offers opening and answers. I hear “settle and be still. Answers don’t always present boldly and without inner searching. The answer sometimes lies in gentle stillness, without grasping or desperation.”

EMPATHIC - Empathic (broken, chipped and otherwise damaged) crystals bring out compassionate feelings in us. The crystal picks up this empathy and amplifies it. Often the lesson of Empathic crystals is to remember to be compassionate and empathetic to our OWN chips, dings and perceived flaws and to remember we are still beautiful, whole, lovable and worthy.

LEMURIAN SEED CRYSTAL - By definition, a Lemurian Seed Crystal has a specific formation (three heavily stepped, laddered or striated sides) and are often Laser Wands (though not always). They usually present with sharpness and clarity with a specific strong energy. Usually, they have been described as coming only from a specific geographic location. However, what I have come to understand is that MANY MANY crystals were ‘seeded’ (and tended) by both Atlantis and Lemuria, in crystal ‘farms’ if you will. They were placed in the best areas for optimal growth and energetically tended. Therefore, technically speaking, many (if not most) crystals could technically be called ‘seeded Lemurian crystals’, (TECHNICALLY speaking). However, what we now have is a specific TYPE (definition) of crystal which we have all agreed to call ‘Lemurian Seed Crystals’.

LINEATED SIDES - Lineated Sides are horizontal striations across the sides of a point, to be used like a zipper to access further knowledge within the crystal. When you have worked with your crystal and feel ready for more information (desire to go deeper), unzip the crystal to receive the next layer of information. Drag your thumbnail down the side of a point to ‘unzip’ and to zip it back up, drag your thumb from the base back to the tip. Unzipping is like opening a box, looking down inside and seeing that the bottom of the box opens to infinite space. There is no end to the amount of ‘extra’ you can receive as you work with and unzip your crystal. Rezipping is like hanging up the phone. It lets the crystal know you are ‘done for now’ and you can pick up where you left off later. Remember after your session to thank the crystal for its help, and zip back up until next time.

STEPPED SIDES - Stepped sides appear almost like ladders in the Lineation on the sides of a crystal. Lemurian Seed Crystals often have stepped sides. Energetically, a stepped side shows where, in the growth of a crystal (or person), the energy has potential to "level up", or make a change from one way of thinking or being to another. A literal "stepping up" to a new level. It also shows that even when we conquer a new 'rung' there are levels above to reach to.

CURVED - Crystals with a curved shape or have sides that are curved happens when the crystal is forming and it is a rare occurrence. Curved crystals have a gentle, yet powerful, energy and help promote a flexible attitude. Think “go with the flow”.

FAIRY FROST - Fairy Frost is technically fractures and inclusions of air within the crystal. The trapped air is wispy, white and fairy-looking. Lots of crystals have Fairy Frost, some are more fairy-like than others. Crystals with Fairy Frost are able to connect you with Nature Spirits and Fairies (Deva). They encourage us to connect with nature and to care for Mother Earth.

MIRROR FRACTURES - Mirror Fractures are shiny mirror-looking areas within the crystal, caused by damage (shocks (sudden temperature changes), traumas (hits, shaking, shearing Earth movement). Mirror Fractures serve as areas on which to reflect on our traumas and show that our traumas and challenges bring us added beauty and interest.

RAINBOWS - Rainbows are present inside a crystal due to fractures. It is helpful to have very bright light, and you may have to turn the crystal (side-to-side, upside down, etc.) in order to see them. Rainbow crystals are optimistic and happy. They remind us that we are loved and they remind us to look for the gifts our traumas bring us. I think Rainbows are like secret hugs from the Crystal People. It is thrilling and warming. Connect to the gift of love these crystals with Rainbows bring.

KEY - Keys are indentations left by another crystal. Key crystals help you unlock answers to questions you may have. They help you to access anything which you previously were blocked from accessing before you found the key. Is there an area which you could use help in accessing an answer which has previously been blocked to you? The energy of a Key crystal can help you to find an easier, more direct way in. Imagine this as easily opening the lock on the front door and walking right in (rather than having to check all the windows for one that is unlocked, climbing through, scraping your elbows and knocking your head). Ease of access is what Key crystal energy brings us. I like to put my finger in the Key as I work with the crystal. Meditate on the issue for which you need opening while holding the crystal in this way.

BRIDGE - A Bridge is a smaller crystal penetrating a larger crystal. They help to bridge between worlds (the inner and outer worlds between your Inner and Outer Selves or between yourself and others) and are helpful in any area you might imagine needing a bridge. They can help you heal and get in touch with your inner child (bridging the gap between your outer self and your inner self) and are also good for connection and perspective. Just like a physical bridge, they can rise you above the muck (or a difficult crossing), while providing a birds-eye view of a situation. While providing connection, they also help provide boundaries.

INNER CHILD - An Inner Child (a type of Bridge) is a smaller crystal penetrating a larger crystal. I see Inner Child crystals as smaller and penetrating more ‘in’ than ‘out’. They have a feeling to me of going ‘within’ (thereby helping to bridge the gap between your outer self and your inner self).
