This Arkansas quartz crystal point is very clear (Masculine) and is a Devic Temple with Fairy Frost, Mirror Fractures and Rainbows. There are two large Bridges which I also get Dolphin energy from. It is Double Terminated (as are the Bridge/Dolphins) and the base of the main crystal is just becoming ET/Extra-Terrestrial/Extra-Termination. There are sprinkled Barnacles, jewel-like and flashy. Lineated Sides. This crystal feels good in the hand, has a sparkly, playful energy. As is usual with ET, I am taken up and out energetically while my body stays grounded and still. Feels warm in my hand. I like it!

MASCULINE - Very clear points are described as Masculine (referring to energy, not gender). They are helpful when you need to get to the point. The energy they have is sharp and direct. Yang in nature, Masculine crystals are action-oriented and the energy projects rather than recedes.

DEVIC TEMPLE - Crystals which have Fairy Frost, Mirror Fractures and Rainbows inside are called Devic Temples and are considered Master Crystals. Other sources have described them as "having special places for Light Beings to reside" (which they do). However, the description implies that only Devic Temple crystals have this ability, but in reality, all crystals do. Because all crystals have this ability/inclination, I like to put this reminder here. Devic Temples do have a special energy about them and usually have a lot of internal interest and a sharp, powerful feel.

FAIRY FROST - Fairy Frost is technically fractures and inclusions of air within the crystal. The trapped air is wispy, white and fairy-looking. Lots of crystals have Fairy Frost, some are more fairy-like than others. Crystals with Fairy Frost are able to connect you with Nature Spirits and Fairies (Deva). They encourage us to connect with nature and to care for Mother Earth.

MIRROR FRACTURES - Mirror Fractures are shiny mirror-looking areas within the crystal, caused by damage (shocks (sudden temperature changes), traumas (hits, shaking, shearing Earth movement). Mirror Fractures serve as areas on which to reflect on our traumas and show that our traumas and challenges bring us added beauty and interest.

RAINBOWS - Rainbows are present inside a crystal due to fractures. It is helpful to have very bright light, and you may have to turn the crystal (side-to-side, upside down, etc.) in order to see them. Rainbow crystals are optimistic and happy. They remind us that we are loved and they remind us to look for the gifts our traumas bring us. I think Rainbows are like secret hugs from the Crystal People. It is thrilling and warming. BRIDGE - A Bridge is a smaller crystal (or crystals) penetrating and located partially in and partially out of a larger crystal. They help to bridge between worlds (the inner and outer worlds between your inner and outer Selves or between yourself and others) and are helpful in any area you might imagine needing a bridge. They can help you heal and get in touch with your inner child (bridging the gap between your outer self and your inner self) and are also good for connection and perspective. Just like a physical bridge, they can rise you above the muck (or a difficult crossing), while providing a birds-eye view of a situation. While providing connection, they also help provide boundaries.

DOLPHIN - Dolphin crystals are crystals which have a smaller crystal attached to (riding along) the side, not quite big enough to be a Twin or Soulmate, but aligned similarly. Picture a dolphin with a baby swimming very near it, this is what the Dolphin crystal looks like. Metaphysically, Dolphin crystals have a fun, playful energetic energy (that of the baby) and they also have a nurturing, protective energy (that of the mother or adult). Anytime you need to tap into the playful, energetic way dolphin babies learn and explore and the loving, protective, allowing way dolphin mothers teach and guide their young, you might ask for the assistance of or choose to work with a Dolphin crystal. Dolphin crystal energy is about joyful exploration and play with the assurance of built in protection, guidance and loving oversight.

DOUBLE TERMINATED - Double Terminated crystals have a termination on both ends. These crystals grow from a ‘seed’ molecule of silicon dioxide in clay and grow outward in both directions. They are not formed on a matrix. The energy in these crystals flows in both directions as well. Even though they have two terminations, oftentimes there is usually one end that feels like the ‘top’ and one that feels like the ‘bottom’. Double Terminated points promote psychic ability and dream recall (because they send as well as receive) and are also used for balance. They are useful in any application in which you want the energy to flow in both directions. Because the energy flows in both directions, I like using them in healing layouts or grids and for communication with guides/others.

ET, EXTRA-TERRESTRIAL or EXTRA-TERMINATION - Crystals with a single termination at the top and several terminations coming out of the base. Extra-Terrestrial crystals remind me of a cartoon version of a rocket ship (a cigar-shaped ship with fire coming out the bottom). Their energy is powerful. You may use them to assist you in accessing beings from other realities such as extraterrestrials or Angels (extraterrestrial definition: originating, existing, or occurring outside the earth or its atmosphere). I often also get a sense of flying through the universe when holding these crystals (travelling through a black starry expanse).

BARNACLES - Barnacles are smaller crystals that are attached to a larger crystal. Crystals with Barnacles emit a very Old Soul, ancient feeling. The larger crystal is the ‘Old Soul’ and contains the wisdom and trust that attracts the smaller crystals (babies or new souls). They are helpful to us in the way that a loving human grandmother/father would be (like the Oracle from the Matrix movies). They help us to see things from a wider, deeper, wiser perspective. The description of a crystal with Barnacles is pertaining to the energy of the larger crystal that attracts or grows Barnacles rather than the energy of the Barnacles themselves.

LINEATED SIDES - Lineated Sides are horizontal striations across the sides of a point, to be used like a zipper to access further knowledge within the crystal. When you have worked with your crystal and feel ready for more information (desire to go deeper), unzip the crystal to receive the next layer of information. Drag your thumbnail down the side of a point to ‘unzip’ and to zip it back up, drag your thumb from the base back to the tip. Unzipping is like opening a box, looking down inside and seeing that the bottom of the box opens to infinite space. There is no end to the amount of ‘extra’ you can receive as you work with and unzip your crystal. Rezipping is like hanging up the phone. It lets the crystal know you are ‘done for now’ and you can pick up where you left off later. Remember after your session to thank the crystal for its help, and zip back up until next time.
