This is a Feminine Dolphin crystal full of Fairy Frost. Dolphin crystals are crystals which have a smaller crystal attached to (riding along) the side, not quite big enough to be a Twin or Soulmate, but aligned similarly. They are sometimes called a baby. If you picture a dolphin with a baby swimming very near it, this is what the Dolphin crystal looks like (a larger crystal with a smaller crystal riding alongside). Metaphysically, Dolphin crystals have a fun, playful energetic energy (that of the baby) and they also have a nurturing, protective energy (that of the mother or adult). Imagine the energy to lovingly guide, teach and protect our young. This is the energy of a Dolphin Crystal. Anytime you need to tap into the playful, energetic, loving way dolphin mothers teach and guide their young you might ask for the assistance of or choose to work with a Dolphin crystal. Crystals that are dense with Fairy Frost (sometimes milky in appearance) are described as Feminine. The concentration of density in a Feminine crystal varies from nearly opaque Fairy Frost to solid white, milky quartz. Feminine crystals help us (both men and women) to get in touch with our feminine nature. They have a soft, yet deep, mysterious energy. Yin in nature, Feminine crystals are intuitive, nurturing and receptive. Typically, the term Feminine is referring to the physical characteristic of a crystal being dense or milky in color, and doesn’t always refer to the energetic qualities. A note on when I describe crystals as Feminine (or Masculine) typically refers to the energetic qualities referring to energy, not gender. There is an Inner Child (a type of Bridge). Which is a smaller crystal (or crystals) penetrating and located partially in and partially out of a larger crystal. Both names, Bridge and Inner Child, are used interchangeably. Inner Child crystals I see as much smaller and penetrating more ‘in’ than ‘out’ and they have a feeling to me of going ‘within’. Bridge or Inner Child crystals help to bridge between worlds. It may be the inner and outer worlds between your inner and outer Selves or between yourself and others. Inner Child crystals can help you heal and get in touch with your inner child (bridging the gap between your outer self and your inner self). The faces have Sigils. Sigils are any markings that represent an idea. (For example, "$" is a sigil that represents money and abundance, a heart represents love, etc.) Surface features which may be etched (tactile) or appear similar to a Record Keeper (seen in the glare of a light but not easily felt). Because a Sigil is a marking that reminds us of an idea or invokes a memory or feeling, the meaning will depend on what the sigil represents to you. Let your mind’s eye wander and see if they take on a life of their own like a video in your mind’s eye, (or if they bring up a thought or feeling). This is a form of scrying and a way to receive the messages that the crystal is bringing to you through the Sigils. The base is heavily Self-Healed with spotty Manganese Inclusions. Self-Healed crystals have been broken (either from the matrix or breaks in the body during the growth cycle) and have started to re-seal their broken end with new growth. Self-Healing looks like scales or triangular layers (or when broken in pieces, appears to be ‘glued’ back together). It may be present on the bottom, sides or even tip of a point or cluster. Self-healed crystals are good for healing, as one might imagine and also have optimistic, persistent energy. A crystal that has first healed its own wounding demonstrates how we are more able to help heal others when we first heal our own wounds. We can take this lesson to heart in our own healing practice. Inclusions in crystals occur when crystal is forming, and other substances are present in the solution. The properties of Included crystals will vary, depending on the mineral included within the crystal, in this case, Manganese. The properties of the manganese is enhanced and amplified by being trapped within the structure of quartz. Manganese is a dark black mineral often present on Arkansas crystal. A mineral of bonding, Manganese brings people closer together, activating the energies of cooperation in group efforts. Manganese stimulates spontaneity, creativity and enhances positive energy. Manganese produces a grounding effect which can help to balance the emotions and the physical body.
