ANXIOUS? FEARFUL? UNSETTLED? BE HERE NOW

Are you feeling anxious? Fearful? Unsettled? Experiencing ‘stuff’ from the past? I have been! “Be Here Now” is the suggestion I received from my Crystal Guide, Venus. Read on and I’ll explain.

WHAT'S GOING ON ENERGETICALLY TO CAUSE US TO FEEL ANXIOUS, FEARFUL and UNSETTLED?

This might seem like a silly question in light of the recent couple of years. But the reasoning is actually two-fold.

It is due to both the ascension process, and careful manipulation by the ‘powers that be’ (more on the manipulation later).

As to the ascension process, ‘stuff’ is being brought up as it is released.

I’ve mentioned this in posts before, but basically, imagine our body as a glass.

The inside of the glass has hard-water residue and old gunk that wasn’t cleaned off completely at the time.

Just like a jet of water pouring into the glass, as the increasing light and higher vibration pours in, it “knocks loose” this residue and unprocessed gunk.

This residue and unprocessed gunk may present as emotions, stories, memories or feed-back loops of unprocessed “stuff”.

Our ingrained habit is to grab hold of these chunks as they pass, to try and figure out what they are.

Where did they come from? What is the origin? How did that chunk get there? I thought I fully cleaned that part of the glass! When did I eat corn? (that’s a different analogy, but it fits).

ALLOW THE FLOW, DON'T GRASP OR ATTACH TO STORIES

Switching analogies, I really resonate with a visual given by Lorie Ladd.

I’ll paraphrase and run what Lorie said through the Genn-Filter.

Lorie likens the time-stream to a river with boulders in it. The boulders represent the emotions we run into. The river represents time or life or living.

Rather than grabbing onto the boulder as we pass, the best course is to bounce off and flow around.

In Lorie’s description, I can see in my mind’s eye what happens when we grab the boulder as we pass. Can you?

You hit the boulder and grab on. The water keeps pushing, so the grabbing is even harder.

The water shoves you into the boulder and threatens to go over your head, making moving or even breathing difficult or impossible.

What do we do now!?

Instead of grabbing hold, we’re meant to flow on by the boulder.

Thank it for its lesson. Leave it behind us as we flow on. Staying present in our bodies, moving into each new Now Moment.

TIMELINES AND HOW THEY FIGURE IN

I describe how time (as we experience it) is stretched out like a yardstick in my book, Understanding the Crystal People.

Most of us view time in a linear fashion. The “past” is on the left end of the yardstick (behind us), and the “future” is on the right (ahead of us).

In our current view of the yardstick, laying flat, we are in the center, in the now.

Actuality, time is all happening in one extended Now. That looks like the yardstick standing on end. Every event (past, present and future) is all happening Now.

EVERYTHING IS NOW - BUT WE ARE LINEAR

Even though, in actuality, all of Time is happening NOW, we still experience time in a linear fashion.

Venus gives some examples of how to navigate in our linear experience of Time.

She explained that for most humans, emotions tend to ‘belong’ to one end of the yardstick or the other.

I saw little stacks of emotions placed on either end of the yardstick like blocks on a teeter totter.

This is a linear way of looking at time.

The past would sit on one end of the teeter totter, the future on the other and the balance point in between is the Now.

THE TRICK TO ESCAPING THE FEEDBACK LOOPS OF EMOTION IS TO REALIZE WHEN YOU AREN'T IN THE PRESENT

When you are stuck in an emotion and don’t know what to do with it, it helps to put it into context as to where the emotion sits on the yardstick.

Some emotions belong to the past. Some emotions belong to the future.

Why is it important to figure out whether this emotion belongs to the past or future?

It is important because if it’s in past or future, it isn’t something that is either happening Now or needs to be addressed Now. (A clue to Be Here Now).

It is important to recognize whether this anxiety is valid right now (there is a bear about to attack or zombies knocking down your door).

If not, then it is safe to let the emotion arise (and dissipate) on its own (without engaging).

No need to grasp or “figure it out”.

Simply let it be. Be here now. It will go if we don’t grab it.

HOW TO DETERMINE IF THIS EMOTION IS FOR THE PAST OR FUTURE SO WE CAN BE HERE NOW?

Emotions like regret, remorse, guilt, shame, blame and humiliation belong to the past.

Venus explained how we know this. Take any of those emotions and try to put them in a future context. Did you try it? I’ll wait.

You can’t regret, have remorse, shame or guilt about a future event. You can’t put those emotions into a future context. Therefore they belong to the past.

Similarly, you can’t be in fear, uncertainty, impatience, worry or anxiety about a past event. You can’t put those emotions into a past context because those events have already happened. Therefore they belong to the future.

This is how you recognize where the emotion belongs.

WHAT IF THE EMOTION BELONGS IN THE PRESENT?

Of course, there are emotions which need to be dealt with in real time.

Are you feeling fear because there is a bear charging you? Zombies scratching at the window? Take action!!

Any emotion in the present moment that also has the trigger in the present moment can (and should) be dealt with, Now.

Did you say or do something that triggered immediate remorse or regret in the present (even though regret is technically a “past” emotion)?

Deal with it now. Make the apology. Clarify what you mean.

Don’t let that residue stick to your glass, it will have to be blasted out later!

Better to do it now while it is still fresh than when it is dried on.

Alternately, any emotion experienced in the present that has the trigger in the past (or future) may be felt and released without the need to act (or analyze).

This is the center point of the teeter totter. You are in your body, solid and grounded.

IN WHICH DIRECTION DOES YOUR EMOTION LEAD YOU?

Is it a “past” emotion (regret, remorse, guilt), a “future” emotion (anxiety, worry, uncertainty) or a “present” emotion (BEAR!! ZOMBIE!! RUN!!)?

If it falls into the past or future, remind yourself of the boulders in the stream and LET GO.

Breathe. Come to center. Move out of your head and into your body.

It’s not important to know what caused these emotions in the past or worries of the future. The importance (and magic) is in the letting go.

The whole point in identifying emotions as “past” or “future” is because in the moment, they can feel very real and demanding.

Identifying where these feelings belong allows a built in “pause” button so you can stop the feedback loop we can get caught up in.

If the emotion truly belongs to the present and the trigger is there in front of you, then take action. If it is not, then let it go!

FEEL THE EMOTIONS

Identifying where on the timeline the emotions belong is not to try and suppress the emotions.

Nor is it to say you shouldn’t be feeling them because they are either in the past and over with or in the future and not real.

I know this seems contradictory, but your body needs to feel these emotions as they release. They are coming up for a purpose.

Let them flow, don’t try and stop them. Let them rise, and watch without grasping.

It can be uncomfortable in the extreme, but they will go away sooner if you don’t suppress, grasp or engage in the stories to which they belong.

ADOPT THE MANTRA "BE HERE NOW"

Venus offered the following technique for when you get stuck in a loop of guilt, shame or blame (PAST) or anxiety, fear or uncertainty (FUTURE).

When I recognize I am in my head, experiencing either past or future emotions, I take a deep breath and pull my consciousness down into my body.

I leave my head and go into my heart. The balance point.

I take several more deep breaths. I ask “Am safe, right Now?”

99% of the time, I realize my experience is nothing but a projection borrowed from past or future stories.

STUFF WILL ARISE. LET IT.

Be aware that things are going to come up for all of us during this ascension process.

It is designed to be that way.

The crud we didn’t get scrubbed out of our glass is being blasted loose so it can come up – and out. (Hello shiny new glass!)

WE'RE BEING PLAYED - ENTER THE MANIPULATION ASPECT

Important to note: Along with the ascension purging, we are also all being expertly manipulated by the ‘powers that be’. Those who have been controlling and enslaving us for millennia to be in maximum fear, anxiety and uncertainty.

Ask yourself why there has been nothing in the mainstream narrative about tolerance for everyone’s viewpoints.

Notice that there is no voice of calm sanity suggesting we all breathe, remain calm and re-center.

There is little to no offering of encouragement or sharing of good news.

The people who are offering these calm and sane directives have mostly been censored and silenced. They aren’t feeding the fear.

Why is this happening? Fear sells and frightened people are easy to control.

THE PLAN? DIVIDE AND CONQUER

What we’re being spoon-fed is division, fear, finger pointing and blaming the “other” side (whichever “side” you identify with).

In my mind’s eye I see a throng of frightened villagers.

Torches in hand, they are being riled up by an anonymous loud voice pointing at the other side as being the cause of all their woes and troubles.

This loud voice is goading them on and encouraging them to riot and attack the “others”.

Truth is, the ‘powers that be’ have a loud voice on both sides, pitting us against each other.

While we fight amongst ourselves, they rob us blind.

Sadly, they aren’t taking our ‘stuff’. They are taking our free will, our sovereignty, our hope, our love for our neighbor, our humanity.

It’s diabolically brilliant, actually.

During a time when the gunk emotions are naturally rising (the ascension), they have created a way to keep us in those very emotions we are meant to let go of. Especially Fear.

That being said, I’m not falling for it! Don’t you fall for it, either!

HOW TO IMPLEMENT THE MANTRA AND "BE HERE NOW"

Venus suggests that our Crystal Friends are the perfect ally to help us anchor into our bodies and Be Here Now.

When we remind ourselves to be present, simply pick up our favorite crystal and bring our awareness to our body and the body of our crystal.

Flow easily around the boulders. Let the emotions arise without attachment. Remember it isn’t about suppressing (that is grasping in itself), it is about letting it rise. Sit with the discomfort. Don’t grab, tell stories, hold or shove it away.

See your glass getting shinier and cleaner.

See yourself flowing easily along the river.

Know that you are safe and trust. There is always a safety net under us. Always. Even when we don’t see it.

Find a voice that is speaking calm sanity to you and disengage from the people who are trying to get us all to fight each other. Love everyone. Especially the people you don’t or can’t understand.

Love, Love, Love and Love some more. Love yourself. Be kind to others. Stay in your heart.
