Physical description: A Key on a crystal point is an indentation left by the end of another crystal. (Technically a key looks more like a key hole. It is a three or six- sided indentation in the side or face of a point. Sometimes you will see just a partial key where only part of the key is present. Other times you may find a six-sided indentation encircling the base of a point, and in these cases, I suppose that point is the one which caused a Key in another crystal.

Metaphysical description: Key crystals are good to help you unlock answers to questions you may have. They help provide access to areas which would be much more difficult to access without the Key. Any area which you can think of using an actual key, the energy in a Key crystal will also apply.

*The size of these crystals will vary. I will send the most representative example of the type of configuration ordered, so if a crystal is small, but an excellent example of the particular configuration, I will send that crystal. If it is particularly small, I may send two in one bag (say 1/2 inch or so)… I aim for a size range from 1 to 2 inches long, 1/2 to 3/4 inch diameter.

Your Key crystal will come with a business-card-sized printed description of the characteristics and special qualities of the crystal within. Crystal sizes may vary greatly in size as I am selecting for the shape, not the size.

I have packaged it with the description card to help you learn the identifying characteristics and uses of this special configuration.

This crystal is sent as a representative sample of a Key crystal. It isn’t necessarily sent for its size, and sometimes may be Empathic (chipped, dinged or damaged), if it is an excellent representation of this type (for example, a very good Manifestation point in an Empathic chunk, or an excellent Record Keeper on a partial point).

This Arkansas quartz crystal point is Empathic with contact dings, Double Terminated and lightly Smoky. It is Masculine (clear) with a lovely deep Key, a light smattering of Barnacles and some Drusy and Sigils that look like crosshatching or snakeskin on a few of the faces on both terminations. Super!

DESCRIPTION:

This Arkansas quartz crystal point is lightly Smoky, water clear (Masculine) with some Fairy Frost. It is very Empathic, missing the entire termination. It has a couple of Bridges, the largest has a lovely Rainbow between it and the main crystal, best seen through the opposite side. When Rainbows appear on the surface between two closely connected (fused) crystals, metaphorically, this can represent how a relationship with a closely-attached-other can bring us Rainbows. Often the fusing of the two crystals produces a surface on which Rainbows like to ride. The relationship with the closely-attached-other creates a Rainbow to be explored and honored while the two are connected.

There is some clay still in the crevasses. Crystals with the mineral and rust still on (and clay in some cases) tell us to \”remember where you come from\”. It speaks to many levels and layers. Where we come from physically, what we\’ve been through, both emotionally and physically, where we come from in our past (this life) and where we come from ultimately (Spirit) etc. These crystals give us pause to reflect on our past and contemplate the residue of the experiences we have accumulated. There are Keys and Lineated Sides. Really lovely point in spite of the breakage. I really like it a lot.

DESCRIPTION:

This Arkansas quartz crystal point is water clear (Masculine) with some Fairy Frost at the base. It is an asymmetrical Dow (Channeling orientation – one of the three 7’s is larger than the other two). It has Keys and Lineated Faces with a really cool faint square-shaped ghostly looking “door” made of Faint Fairy Frost inside. Portal, perhaps!?!

This is a large Arkansas quartz crystal point that has been through some trauma in the birthing process. Empathic with lots of chips and dings and a base that has some sharp areas on it where it broke from the matrix during mining. It is a Devic Temple (has Fairy Frost, Mirror Fractures and Rainbows),  with deep Keys, barnacles and Etching with Sigils. It has a lovely clear energy and loves to be held. I really like it. I am sad for the damage it sustained but it says “we are all damaged in some way (some more obvious than others) and it doesn’t have to affect our attitude about it”.
