This Arkansas quartz crystal point has a huge Key, big enough to easily fit your thumb inside, (which is how I like to work with Key crystals). It has an Isis Face and is Yin/Yang with Fairy Frost and Mirror Fractures. Do you want to find the answer to something (“Why can’t I…”?) A Key crystal helps to gain access to areas which were previously blocked to you. This is a really nice one!

KEY – Keys are indentations left by another crystal. Key crystals help you unlock answers to questions you may have. They help you to access anything which you previously were blocked from accessing before you found the key. Is there an area which you could use help in accessing an answer which has previously been blocked to you? The energy of a Key crystal can help you to find an easier, more direct way in. ISIS FACE (FIVE-SIDED) – An Isis Face is a five-sided face on a crystal point. To ‘qualify’ as an Isis face, the edges are usually symmetrical. While the Isis Face is sometimes the largest face, they are not always the largest face on the termination. RAINBOWS – Rainbows are present inside a crystal due to fractures. It is helpful to have very bright light, and you may have to turn the crystal (side-to-side, upside down, etc.) in order to see them. Rainbow crystals are optimistic and happy. They remind us that we are loved and they remind us to look for the gifts our traumas bring us. I think Rainbows are like secret hugs from the Crystal People. It is thrilling and warming. BRIDGE – A Bridge is a smaller crystal (or crystals) penetrating and located partially in and partially out of a larger crystal. Bridge Crystals help to bridge between worlds (the inner and outer worlds between your inner and outer Selves or between yourself and others). They are helpful in any area you might imagine needing a bridge. They can help you heal and get in touch with your inner child (bridging the gap between your outer self and your inner self). They are also good for connection and perspective. They bring you up out of the muck, and give you a birds-eye view of a situation. While providing connection, they also help provide boundaries. IMPRINT – Imprints are indentations or marks left on the sides or faces of a crystal where they grew in close proximity to another crystal. Crystals with Imprints represent how we are affected by outside influences (usually other people). The original structure adapts to its environment as outside influences (associations with people) change its shape or form. This allows for growth and change, while still maintaining the crystal’s basic inherent truth and beauty. An Imprint is a type of Key, so the characteristics of Key crystals applies as well. LINEATED SIDES – Lineated Sides are horizontal striations across the sides of a point, to be used like a zipper to access further knowledge within the crystal. When you have worked with your crystal and feel ready for more information (desire to go deeper), unzip the crystal to receive the next layer of information. Drag your thumbnail down the side of a point to ‘unzip’ and to zip it back up, drag your thumb from the base back to the tip. Unzipping is like opening a box, looking down inside and seeing that the bottom of the box opens to infinite space. There is no end to the amount of ‘extra’ you can receive as you work with and unzip your crystal. Rezipping is like hanging up the phone. It lets the crystal know you are ‘done for now’ and you can pick up where you left off later. Remember after your session to thank the crystal for its help, and zip back up until next time. LINEATED FACE – Lineated Face crystals are crystals with surface markings viewed in the same way you find Record Keepers. Lineated face crystals may have markings which start as a small triangle that is outlined continually, oftentimes the pattern runs off the face of the crystal, sometimes it doesn’t. To picture this, just imagine the lines in a Zen Garden. The innermost triangle may or may not be centrally located. Lineated Face crystals may be accessed during meditation in the same way that you might use a labyrinth. To work with Lineated Face crystals, follow the lines in and down to a meditative state and when you are finished, work your way back out from the center. RECORD KEEPER – Record Keepers are crystals that have triangular markings on the faces. They seem to be three-dimensional, but they usually can’t be felt with your finger. You have to hold a crystal at just the right angle in order to see the Record Keeper. Usually they are very sharply edged, equilateral triangles; however, I have seen them with rounded bottoms as well (more arrowhead shaped), which I call non-traditional. There may only be one present on a face, or you may find layers and layers of them. Record Keepers will appear and disappear (I call that ‘popping’). A Record Keeper crystal will find its way to the person who needs the information it contains and they help you access special wisdom and information specific to you. This Arkansas quartz crystal point is Empathic with some chips and contact dings. It also was sheared almost in half diagonally and Self-Healed back together during the growth process. It is Yin/Yang (Clear/Masculine top and dense with Fairy Frost/Feminine) along this diagonal line, separated by shiny Mirror Fractures. There is a Left Activation Window (Time Link to the Past), Lineated Sides, a light smattering of Barnacles and some square geometric Keys. Really interesting crystal!

LEFT ACTIVATION WINDOW/TIME LINK TO THE PAST – A Left Activation Window is an extra facet that leans to the left. It looks like a parallelogram leaning left. They may be sliver-thin or thick. It may remind you of a back slash on a computer keyboard. Left Activation Windows are Time Links to the past. They also activate left-brain functions (such as logical thinking and analysis). If you are inclined to be more in one ‘brain’ or the other, it is good to use the crystal of the hemisphere you tend not to use as much. Once you have reached a balance, you should use a Left and a Right Activation crystal together to maintain that balance. BARNACLES – Barnacles are smaller crystals that are attached to a larger crystal. Usually, these crystals emit a very Old Soul, ancient feeling. The larger crystal is the ‘Old Soul’ and contains the wisdom and trust that attracts the smaller crystals (babies or new souls).
