Physical description: These crystals are also called Grounding crystals, and they have eight edges on the main face. Usually each side or wall has a face or roof. While it isn’t uncommon to have seven sides to a face, in the case of Eight-Sided Face crystals, there is an extra side. This is a rare occurrence (and there are still only six sides on the body of these crystals).

Metaphysical description: A stop sign also has eight sides; use this to remember that these crystals help you to stop and ground. I like to put my thumb on the grounding face (the largest face) and use it that way. You may also press and hold the grounding face to ground energy in any chakra.

*The size of these crystals will vary. I will send the most representative example of the type of configuration ordered, so if a crystal is small, but an excellent example of the particular configuration, I will send that crystal. If it is particularly small, I may send two in one bag (say 1/2 inch or so)… I aim for a size range from 1 to 2 inches long, 1/2 to 3/4 inch diameter.

Your Eight-Sided Face crystal will come with a business-card-sized printed description of the characteristics and special qualities of the crystal within. Crystal sizes may vary greatly in size as I am selecting for the shape, not the size.

I have packaged it with the description card to help you learn the identifying characteristics and uses of this special configuration.

This crystal is sent as a representative sample of an Eight-Sided Face crystal. It isn’t necessarily sent for its size, and sometimes may be Empathic (chipped, dinged or damaged), if it is an excellent representation of this type (for example, a very good Manifestation point in an Empathic chunk, or an excellent Record Keeper on a partial point).

This is a coloring book of hand drawn crystal mandalas. The books are split up alphabetically, you can start with whichever book you want! VOLUME 2 consists of E through G (Eight-Sided Face through Growth Interference).

The crystal mandalas came about as a way to make understanding the “anatomy” (form and structure) and \”physiology\” (function) of quartz crystal both easy and fun. While it IS a coloring book, it is really much more than that. It is a learning book. It is a relaxing book. It is a way to make learning the nuances of quartz crystal easy, fun, and memorable.

Each mandala picture you see here is an individual 11 x 11 design. I have combined 4 on each page just so you can see all the designs in the book (my shopping cart is limited to 5 images). They don\’t come like this in the book!

Crystal People … what a concept!

I know if you\’re reading this book you consider yourself a crystal person. The Crystal People I am speaking of, however, are the crystals themselves; sentient beings millennia older than ourselves!

A new energy is arriving. We\’re moving out of an era of following others\’ authority and more fully into following self-directed, intuitive guidance.

In this book you will learn how to listen to the crystal in your own way, rather than hearing their voice through someone else\’s filter. I will teach you what you need to know in order to do this.

You will learn where the crystal comes from, how they are formed and what language they speak.

You will learn how to speak that language and how to connect with your crystal friend.

I know that many of you have read the names of the different quartz configurations, but I suspect that some of you may still be finding it difficult to determine, with absolute certainty, what YOUR crystal is and how to best put it to use for personal and global healing.

MY INTRODUCTION TO THE CRYSTAL PEOPLE

Grandparents who are rock hounds, well, rock!

I grew up in California and spent my formative years scrambling up hills, running wild in the mountains and combing the beaches.

We looked for square nails and purple bottles at old home sites, hematite and gold in the mountains, and agate on the beaches of the Pacific Northwest.

My grandparents were collectors and if I was lucky I got to tag along.

They used to gather Arkansas crystal and ship it back home to California. I remember growing up looking at crystal clusters sparkling and shining in the California sunshine.

Little did I know that I would become friends with these majestic beings!

How lucky am I? How lucky are you? I\’m going to teach you to connect, but, alas, I am getting ahead of myself.

Let me start from the very beginning of my journey.

Besides rocks and collecting, art has been my passion my entire life. I began my path as an adult majoring in the fields of Fine Art and Graphic Design.

After hearing so many people ask me what in the world I was going to do with a Degree in Art, and internalizing all of the negative reasons why this was a bad choice, I abandoned my dream and entered the field of Nursing.

My mother was a nurse, several aunts were nurses. It was the logical step, or so I thought, but logic and happiness don\’t always go hand in hand.
