This is a group of 4 Arkansas quartz crystal points that are exactly as they were when they came out of the crystal mine. No acid bath (almost all crystal has been through an acid bath to remove iron oxide) and not even a water bath on these. They are just as I picked them up at the crystal mine. These came from Ron Coleman’s mine here in Arkansas.

Empathic, Masculine, Iron oxide and a line of faint Record Keepers.

This group of 4 crystals has two Channelers, lots of iron oxide, a couple of Time Links to the Future and Stepped Sides. As a group they have a bright, open, engaging energy.

You might choose to go ahead and give them a bath to get the dust and clay off, and also you might want to give them a bath in something called iron out (very easy to do) if you would like the iron stains off.

TRANSMITTER - A Transmitter is two Channeler faces side by side with a triangle in between (seven-three-seven). The main ‘face’ or front is actually the ‘three’ between the two seven-sided faces. The two seven-sided faces will be close to the same size. When one of the two faces is much larger than the other, I call these Transmitter crystals with a Channeler orientation. Transmitters work much like Channelers, only double! They help you access higher wisdom, either in the form of your Higher Self or Spirit Guides or even Angels. Transmitters have a proud, almost mysterious, feel. I picture them as two sentinels standing not quite side-to-side and not quite back-to-back. I like them because their main face is between two diagonals. What do I mean by this? Imagine standing in front of a triangularly shaped building that has its entrance on the corner where the two sidewalks meet. It is unexpected and special.

CHANNELER - A Channeling crystal (Channeler), has a main face with seven edges. Directly behind that seven-sided face, there will be a three-sided face (triangle). This configuration is described as a 7-3. Channelers or Channeling crystals help you access higher wisdom, (Higher Self or Spirit Guides, Angels, etc). These crystals exude a crisp, regal energy. Channeling or Channeler crystals can bring you love and light from beings in the higher realms.

IRON OXIDE - golden-yellow mineral coating occurring on lots of crystals, usually taken off with an acid bath. Sometimes has rainbow iridescence on the outer layer (like rainbows you see on oil slicks). This is referred to as “Natural Rainbow Aura”. These crystals have an Earthy and grounding energy and remind us what crystals look like in their natural state (before an acid bath).  Sometimes it is trapped in fissures and fractures and doesn't (can't) come off, even with the bath.

MINERAL STILL ATTACHED - Crystals with the mineral and rust still on (and clay in some cases) tell us to "remember where you come from". It speaks to many levels and layers. Where we come from physically, what we've been through, both emotionally and physically, where we come from in our past (this life) and where we come from ultimately (Spirit) etc. These crystals give us pause to reflect on our past and contemplate the residue of the experiences we have accumulated.

EMPATHIC - Empathic (broken, chipped and otherwise damaged) crystals bring out compassionate feelings in us. The crystal picks up this empathy and amplifies it. Often the lesson of Empathic crystals is to remember to be compassionate and empathetic to our OWN chips, dings and perceived flaws and to remember we are still beautiful, whole, lovable and worthy.

MASCULINE - Very clear points are described as Masculine (referring to physical features and possibly energy, not necessarily gender). They are helpful when you need to get to the point. The energy they have is sharp and direct. Yang in nature, Masculine crystals are action-oriented and the energy projects rather than recedes.

STEPPED SIDES - Stepped sides appear almost like ladders in the Lineation on the sides of a crystal. Lemurian Seed Crystals often have stepped sides. Energetically, a stepped side shows where, in the growth of a crystal (or person), the energy has potential to "level up", or make a change from one way of thinking or being to another. A literal "stepping up" to a new level. It also shows that even when we conquer a new 'rung' there are levels above to reach to.

EIGHT-SIDED FACE GROUNDING - Eight-Sided Face crystals are also called Grounding crystals. They have eight edges on the main face. This is a fairly rare occurrence (and there are still only six sides on the body of these crystals). A stop sign also has eight sides; use this to remember that Eight-Sided Face or Grounding crystals help you to stop and ground. I like to put my thumb on the Eight-Sided Face (Grounding face) which is the largest face and work with it that way. You may also press and hold the grounding face to ground energy in any chakra. “Simply grounding” seems like a nominal role. However, none of our head dreams can be brought down and out through the material world, without first being grounded. If not for grounding, we would just be up in the air, floating around (metaphorically). We wouldn’t be doing the physical “work” that is required to manifest in material reality. So, the grounding aspect is a very important one and isn't limited to the traditionally description of grounding.

RIGHT ACTIVATION WINDOW/TIME LINK TO THE FUTURE - A Right Activation Window is an extra facet that leans to the right (looks like a parallelogram leaning right or a forward slash on a computer keyboard) and may be sliver-thin or thick. Right leaning Windows are considered time links to the future and can help you to access future timelines. They also activate right brain functions (such as creativity, imagination and daydreaming).

BARNACLES - Barnacles are smaller crystals that are attached to a larger crystal. Crystals with Barnacles emit a very Old Soul, ancient feeling. The larger crystal is the ‘Old Soul’ and contains the wisdom and trust that attracts the smaller crystals (babies or new souls). They are helpful to us in the way that a loving human grandmother/father would be (like the Oracle from the Matrix movies). They help us to see things from a wider, deeper, wiser perspective. The energetic description of a crystal with Barnacles is pertaining to the energy of the larger crystal that attracts or grows Barnacles rather than the energy of the Barnacles themselves.

KEY - Keys are indentations left by another crystal. Key crystals help you unlock answers to questions you may have. They help you to access anything which you previously were blocked from accessing before you found the key. Is there an area which you could use help in accessing an answer which has previously been blocked to you? The energy of a Key crystal can help you to find an easier, more direct way in. Imagine this as easily opening the lock on the front door and walking right in (rather than having to check all the windows for one that is unlocked, climbing through, scraping your elbows and knocking your head). Ease of access is what Key crystal energy brings us. I like to put my finger in the Key as I work with the crystal. Meditate on the issue for which you need opening while holding the crystal in this way.

MIRROR FRACTURES - Mirror Fractures are shiny mirror-looking areas within the crystal, caused by damage (shocks (sudden temperature changes) or traumas (hits, shaking, shearing Earth movement). Mirror Fractures serve as areas on which to reflect on our traumas and show that our traumas and challenges bring us added beauty and interest.

RECORD KEEPER - A Record Keeper is a triangular marking on the face. They seem to be three-dimensional, but they usually can’t be felt with your finger. You have to hold a crystal at just the right angle in order to see the Record Keeper. Usually they are very sharply edged, equilateral triangles; however, I have seen them with rounded bottoms as well (more arrowhead shaped), which I call non-traditional. There may only be one present on a face, or you may find layers and layers of them. Record Keepers will appear and disappear (I call that ‘popping’). A Record Keeper crystal will find its way to the person who needs the information it contains and they help you access special wisdom and information specific to you. In a way, they represent storage devices but the information is accessed via a portal. The portal is the Record Keeper marking.

TO VIEW SURFACE FEATURES - To view the surface of the crystal (versus looking inside), hold your crystal parallel to a light source so that you can use the glare that the light creates in order to see what is on the surface. To illustrate: Imagine a very clear lake. If the sun isn't shining off the surface, then you see right down into the lake and you can see rocks and fish and weeds. When the glare of the sun is on the water, you can see things floating on the surface like dust, bugs, or even ripples that you wouldn't have been able to see without the sun's glare. The same is true for surface features on a crystal. The best way to do this (and you will do it for each face) is to find your best light source, the sun if you are outside or a bright light or lamp if you are inside. Then, starting with the main face, work your way around the crystal by tipping it until you can see the surface features in the light's glare. There may be Etching, Record Keepers, Sigils or scratches; sometimes, there are no markings at all. Be patient. Sometimes it takes a little bit of trial and error to get just the right angle.

TO WORK WITH RECORD KEEPERS - To work with a Record Keeper, if you have a knowing that there is one but can't see it, that is fine. Become familiar with the look of the Record Keeper (or knowing it is there). In meditation, I imagine myself shrinking and the Recorder growing until I can step through like a doorway. See where you are led when you step through. What do you see, where are you, what information is presented? Just as with dreams, the experience often fades. If what was presented seemed ‘mundane’ on one hand or even remarkable on the other, we think it will be easily remembered. I find that we think we would never forget the details but we often do. It is best to write down your experience when finished. This is also helpful for when you revisit the Record Keeper portal, you may find a story or theme developing in your messages received.
